• Innocent, but lacking capacity to cover special case
• Saving boring marriage, a bishop's empty life is beyond reproach
• Inoffensive, lacking power to contain odd one out
• Cannot include offence that is ordinary enough
• Bar in students' club has qualified as entirely satisfactory
